DAY01 SUN : ISTANBUL / KAYSERI OR NEVSEHIR / CAPPADOCIA (D)

Arrival to Istanbul Atatuk Airport and catch a connecting flight to Kayseri or Nevsehir. You will be met and transferred to your hotel by Orion tour guide. Dinner & overnight.

 

DAY02 MON : CAPPADOCIA (B,L,D)

Breakfast at the hotel, morning visit to the underground city of Kaymakli & Citadel of Uchisar. After lunch continue with the valley of “Goreme” & open air museum. The last sites will be Pasabag valley and Avanos. Return to hotel for dinner & overnight.

ENJOY OPTIONALS : Belly Dance show at Cave Restaurant / Hot air Balloon ride.

 

DAY03 TUE : CAPPADOCIA / KONYA / PAMUKKALE (B,L,D)

Early in the morning, we drive to Konya stopping by and viewing the Seljuk Sultanhani Caravanserai on the way. We visit the Mausoleum of Mevlana in Konya. Lunch will be served on the way. Arrive in Pamukkale and enjoy the sunset with its unique formation of petrified calcium cliffs. Dinner and overnight.

 

DAY04 WED : PAMUKKALE / KUSADASI (B,L,D)

After breakfast, we visit the ancient city of Hierapolis in details. Necropolis, Nymfaeum, Main Street and calcified travertine. Continue to Kusadasi for dinner and overnight.

 

DAY5 THU : KUSADASI (B,L,D)

In the morning, we visit the house of Virgin Mary. Continue to the lonian city of Ephesus, the Roman Capital of Asia Minor. We visit the ancient city covering Bouleterion, Prytaneum, Celsius library, Hadrian’s temple and theater. Then we visit the Basilica of St. John, who came here with the Virgin Mary and wrote his Gospel. We will enjoy a fashion show on leather goods during the day. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.

 

DAY6 FRI : KUSADASI / CANAKKALE (B,L,D)

Our first stop this morning is to the hauntingly beautiful city of Pergamon. Among the impressive structures of this city, dating from 399 BC, we will visit Asclepion of Pergamon was a famous health center where methods of treatment included blood transfusions, music therapy and meditation. Lunch in town. Following lunch, we drive to world renown city of Troy, to the legendary town mentioned in the “Iliad”. Drive to Canakkale. Dinner and overnight.

 

DAY07 SAT : CANAKKALE / ISTANBUL (B,L)

In the morning, after breakfast we cross the Dardanelles by ferry and visit to Anzac Cove and the Beach Cemetery, home to one of Australia’s most legendary soldiers, John Simpson, as well as Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair, original trenches, the Nek, Courtney Steel Post and Queen’s Post and drive to Istanbul. We have lunch en route. We transfer you to your hotel in Istanbul. Overnight.

 

DAY08 SUN : ISTANBUL (B,L)

After breakfast visit to St. Sophia Museum which is one of the great architectural marvels of the ancient world. We continue on to the Hippodrome, the sportive and political center of the Old City to see Egyptian Obelisk, Serpentine Column and German Fountain. Afterwards, we visit the Blue Mosque, facing St. Sophia and famous for its delicate blue tiles, and unique 6-minaret design. We then visit Topkapi Palace, seat of the Ottoman Empire for four centuries and visit the Treasury. Overnight.

 

DAY09 MON : ISTANBUL (B)

Free time until your transfer to Istanbul Ataturk Airport for your flight home.
